Lesson 5: Qi Gong Practice – Transition | Earth + Metal | Dantien | Wei Qi

Terry’s Qi Gong explores fluid relaxation and receptivity within our embodied form. This 90min, all-levels practice includes breath work, Yin Yoga and Qi Gong. Suggested props: Chair and/or floor cushions for sitting comfortably; Blankets/blocks/cushions to support yourself within your Yin Yoga practice.

The seasonal transition of autumn (Earth to Metal) marks the beginning of the Yin half of the year’s cycle where nature’s energy begins to descend and contract. This practice highlights the ongoing themes we will be exploring for this cycle, which include reflection and contemplation, with an emphasis of valuing our Yin aspects of nature.
