Phases 1-5: This practice sequence is taught in five Phases. Each of the five Phases has a specific purpose, and each can be adapted and modified as needed.
Phase 6: The sixth Phase connect Phases 1-5 together. The entire flow in Phase 6 takes the body into all planes of movement, and is layered to build a crescendo of greater intensity, if desired.
Please practice along to the Yang Lunge Flow videos (Phases 1 through 6). For each individual Phase, go through the Instructional Flow first, and then move on to the Continuous Flow. Practice the Continuous Flow 1-3 rounds. Once you’ve completed all the flows, use the “Questions for Reflection” on the worksheet below to describe your experience during the practice. You might find it helpful to read the questions on the worksheet before practicing.
