For thousands of years, Taoists have drawn wisdom and insight from the natural world. With the practice of Qi Gong, we learn to listen to and harmonize with these natural rhythms. Winter’s rhythm invites an inner fluidity, a reflective stillness and the opportunity for creative renewal of spirit.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, and will include a Qi Gong practice that can be done standing or seated.
What is Qi Gong?
Qi Gong is an ancient gentle movement practice that focuses on balancing and harmonizing one’s vital life energy for optimal health and wellbeing. We use the body, the breath and the mind as tools to access our energy (Qi), and develop greater awareness and skill (Gong) in leading, guiding and directing this vital energy in service of cultivating the conditions for health and harmony.
Terry Cockburn has been a teacher of physical movement of several modalities for over 25 years and recently completed a 200hr Qigong training with John Munro of Long White Cloud Qigong. Terry’s practice and teaching is inspired by the elements of nature, the harmonization of yin and yang, and infused with the wisdom of Buddhism and Taoism.
All participants will receive lifetime access to this recorded workshop. We will send you a follow up email after the workshop has taken place that will give you access.
