In this two-hour workshop, Josh will explore how Yin Yoga collaborates with the holistic functions of the Chinese Heart to support the healthy circulation and harmonization of Qi and Blood (vital energy). Although Yin Yoga’s impact on the Chinese Heart’s functioning is more indirect than some of the other organ systems, Yin Yoga nonetheless does support healthy Heart functioning from both Eastern and Western perspectives. With wise practice, the Heart is brought to the peace of stillness (samadhi), and this experience is a beautiful manifestation of harmonized Qi.
The workshop is suitable for all levels and will include breathwork (pranayama), as well as a Yin Yoga practice sequence.
