Welcome to our generosity, or dana, page where you can join our virtual sangha. A sangha is a community of practitioners who are united by the shared spiritual commitment to the virtuous qualities of the Mind and Heart.
The practice of dana (generosity) comes from Buddhism. It is a practice of offering and receiving generosity from teachers to students and students to teachers. It is the Heart principle of symbiotic support. Your generosity in choosing to support our Sangha is a direct support towards that Heart mission, and we offer my sincere gratitude to you in advance.
As Joseph Goldstein suggests, “Give dana without regret. If you give too much, or too little, you may regret it later.” Please know that for us it is the gesture itself – not the amount – that nurtures our Hearts.
In the West, we don’t have a traditional model of donation-based support, so please read through our two options for membership and choose whichever fits your budget best.
Sustaining Members
As a Sustaining Member, you provide the tangible support that allows us to offer our teachings to those unable to provide assistance. We humbly thank you for your generous Heart. Please choose a pledge amount that feels in alignment with your means.
If you’re not in a financial position to offer support, please let us support you by becoming a Beneficiary Member.
Beneficiary Members
Beneficiary Members provide Josh and Terry the opportunity to cultivate their own generosity. At various points in our yogic and meditative development, we have gratefully received teachings and support when we were financially struggling. Inspired by the generosity of countless others, we are committed to making our teachings freely available. If this feels like the right membership level for you, please send us an email and we will be happy to give you a six month membership for free.
May we all experience the lightness, love and joy of a Heart unburdened by greed, hatred and delusion.
